Basecamp was huddled behind a large boulder on the leeward side for shelter from the wind and rain. We had a large common tent there with a tarp covering the porch. This is where we had our group supplies and propane stove.
Dick, Dave and Lois had a large and spacious tent, a great advantage on rainy days. (Left)
There were plenty of wildflowers around the lake shore (Center) and a family or two of Ptarmigan which were interesting to watch (but hard to photograph well). (Right)
