Best Wishes for 2004 !

At the end of 2003 I was so busy that I had to forego sending any cards out. As hard as I try to it seems that every few years it just doesn't happen. So here is an online equivalent -

In the spirit of my typical mountain photos on cards I offer the following two panoramas of the Adamant Group in the Selkirk range of Canada:

The northerly side from the summit of Pioneer Pk, Mt Sir Sandford in background on left.

The southerly side from the flats of the lower Adamant Glacier.

A photo of me on the summit of "The Tooth" in July of 2003.

The panoramas of the Adamant group are from my last ski touring trip to Fairy Meadows in 2002. I lacked the time to do a ski trip like this in 2003 and barely finished the webpages for the 2002 trip. I did do some climbing in British Columbia at Rogers Pass in the summer.

For more photos like the one above see the completed photo gallery from that trip by clicking either of the two panoramas. The April 4 photos document a big day of touring by two of us across 3 glacier basins and up and down 5000' or so to get to Great Cairn at the base of Mt Sir Sandford.

Best wishes for 2004,

Jim

While my review of the year is still not complete (because I am swamped beyond belief) I did write down some thoughts that came to mind over the holiday.
