When I arrived at Muller Hut (3143 m) on Tuesday and found the "winter room" totally buried in snow I made a trip across the Ubeltalferner to see if Beckerhaus (3190 m) had a winter room. I looped back in the direction of Wilder Pfaff a short ways to traverse above a crevasse field then had some nice turns down to the flat part of the glacier where I crossed.
