I had been hut-bound in the Muller hut (3143) for the day on Wednesday, but on Thursday it dawned cold and clear and I set out across the upper Ubeltalferner towards Becherhaus. This was initially the same route I had taken to check out Becherhaus for a winter room on Tuesday afternoon. Here the view is of Sonklarspitz (3467 m).
