In early December we served as hut custodians for the Alpine Club of Canada Wheeler hut, just off the road - about a 20 min ski. This was another trip which is intimidating for beginners. The terrain is big and steep, much of it was in the clouds all week as it snowed, and it was getting dark by 3:30 or 4. We didn't get any early starts either, since it kept snowing and we had plenty of shoveling to do around the hut. I know some parts were intimidating for Kerry, but if you look at the photos of her you'll see a smile. Index Page
